So I've made a handful of videos so far on the classic (or variation of) Black Smokey Eye. I love to change it up, add shimmer, colored eyeliner, glitter, or instead of the classic black, choose a shimmer black or dark purple etc. There are probably a million tutorials out there on how to do the smokey look but I wanted to share my collection of my makeup tutorials, the Beautynewbie way :)
It's so interesting to see myself doing similar looks over a period of years. Wow, I've come far, I'd say! I see how I've grown and the things that I've stuck to. Just an aside, that's one of my favorite pleasures of doing videos--- just to see how I've changed and grown. Anywho... on with the smokey eyes!
Do you have a preference for smokey? I used to be way more into the "edgy" grungy smokey eye (Emo Basic Black Smokey Eyes) but now I have love for the more "natural" or wearable smokey (Every Girl Smokey Eye). This seems to be what actuallylooks the best on most women. I still really like the Day or Night Smokey Eye I did but I'd probably pair that with bold lashes now for a real shin-dig night-out look
Anyway, here is a quick recap starting with the latest and last tutorial on the basic smokey eye on the top:
Ahhh, sometimes it's nice to reminisce.
Cheers Lovelies!

The Smokey Eye for Every Girl
I made this smokey eye tutorial for all those girls out there who are afraid to venture out and try a black smokey eye. I incorporate brown (my favorite combo with black!) to make this super wearable.
Day or Night Black Smokey Eye
I still love this look and I think it worked really well with my blonde hair. MAN! I still love that copper shimmer eyeshadow from The Body Shop! I still like the smokey with the dark waterline, it's a little bit more exotic.
Emo Basic Black Smokey Eyes
This tutorial of a bold and un-blended smokey eye is one of my earliest makeup looks I'll just say it's very... Avant Garde. Back when I only did one-eye videos, no talking and only described my tutorial with written explanation. HAHA! And apparently listened to music with giant headphones while doing so.
The Olsen Twins Signature Smokey Eye
This one is for those of you who want to do a brown smokey eye. It's one of the more popular makeup tutorials I've done inspired by celebs. This is still look that will be trendy for a long time. A matte brown is a beautiful accent for blue eyed gals.
Ahhh, sometimes it's nice to reminisce.
Cheers Lovelies!
